Craft-Bamboo Racing has been nominated for the ‘Motorsport Team of the Year’ by the prestigious Professional Motorsport World magazine. Based in Hong Kong and Silverstone, the team will be up against some of the biggest factory names in motorsport, with the winners to be announced at the 2015 Professional Motorsport World Expo Awards in Cologne, Germany, on November 11th.
Competing against Scuderia Ferrari, Team Porsche, Volkswagen Motorsport, and Prodrive Racing, Craft-Bamboo Racing is the only private team to be considered for the illustrious title. With famed motorsport institutions such as Volkswagen’s Motorsport WRC team taking the title in 2013, followed by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team in 2014; Craft-Bamboo Racing’s nomination is recognition of their success as a top motorsport organization.
“To be nominated amongst teams of this calibre is a great privilege for our company,” said Craft-Bamboo Racing Chairman Frank Yu. “I would like to personally thank PMW for nominating us for the award; it means a great deal to us and already feels like a win just to be considered for this prominent title. We are still a young team and will be doing everything we can to improve and grow over the next few years in the hope of making Craft-Bamboo Racing one of the world’s best. I want to thank the management and all our team members for a job well done!”
The Professional Motorsport World Expo features an audience of motorsport professionals and continues to be the greatest forum for the very best of the motorsport community to meet in one place.
