Hervé Amelot, Motul President of Management Board, said about the partnership:

“The renewed and extended collaboration between Motul and Dorna is a natural progression to our long-term commitment to motorcycle racing. There is now in place a global agreement which allows us to jointly work together in multiple areas over and above our technical partnerships, comprehensively supporting Dorna in its promotion and engagement in the sport.

“MotoGP is at the heart of our R & D strategy and we continue to work closely and tirelessly with the top-level factory teams to provide them with all they need for competition and production success. Recognition and endorsement of this work was confirmed when Motul was named in 2012 by the FIM as the Federation’s and FIM Endurance World Championship’s official lubricant partner.

“Within this increased collaboration, our commitment as Title Partner to the Argentinian and Valencia Grands Prix, to add to Japan and TT Assen, is strategically important to us, as are the many other elements including our involvement in the world championship’s new Dorna Web media strategy and planning. Motul will be sharing with Dorna its pioneering and innovative knowledge and spirit, just as it has on the technical front with its partner teams.

“We also look forward to bringing our expertise to new teams in WSBK, a series which has flourished under Dorna’s control, and which from 2016 will be known as the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship. Reflecting the alliance now in place, I’m pleased to announce that Motul will also be launching two new Factory Line lubricants in the coming months, one under license to MotoGP and the second under license to the Superbike World Championship.”
