After PS Racing’s strong results in 2014 which included two AFR team titles and a driver title, Formula Racing Development, promoters of the Asia Formula Renault series, recently asked PSR about its plans for the upcoming 2015 Asia Formula Renault series. Under the guidance of triple Formula Renault Champion Pekka Saarinen of Finland, PS Racing looks to take to many more podiums in 2015:

FRD: How is the preparation going for the coming 2015 AFR Race Season?

PSR: We’ve been quite busy with winter testing lately and are very happy with the results. It’s the best time of the year to test with ideal weather and a quieter track. We’ve been making strong improvements with both our new drivers for this year and our returning drivers from last season. We feel that for 2015, our mix of very successful AFR veterans from last season combined with fresh new talent will give us a strong team for 2015 AFR.

PS Racing车队最终获得2014年亚洲雷诺方程式全年度总冠军FRD: Any strategy changes in personnel or teams in order to get a good result this year?

PSR: PS Racing had a fantastic year in AFR’s 2014 season despite almost all our drivers being in their first season of Formula Renault. The great thing with the 2015 season is that our returning drivers will be able to not only do even better this season, thanks to their experience gained last year, but also they will be able to help give guidance to our new ‘young lions’. But also, our talented new drivers, hungry for wins, will no doubt set a fast pace to keep our team sharp, with healthy competition amongst our team drivers.

FRD: What do you expect for the coming AFR season?

PSR: Nothing short of victory. We had an incredible season last year and are certainly not going to ‘rest on our laurels’ – as mentioned before, PSR’s drivers have been making excellent progress this winter and there is no doubt we will be ready for next season. It will be exciting and competitive, and we welcome the challenge!
