With fresh faces, returning favourites and new challenges ahead there is a sense of excitement surrounding BAM for the upcoming season.
BAM Motorsport Promotions’ portfolio will grow even further with talented new clients joining the fold for the 2019 season and beyond. We also welcome a long list of returning teams and drivers who continue to put their trust in BAM’s abilities to deliver successful Sporting, Commercial and Profile Management.
The newest addition to BAM’s management services is talented Australian, Nick Foster, who is on the verge of breaking into the highest echelons of GT Racing. The 26-year-old from Brisbane is in great demand and chose BAM to help in his upward journey through professional motorsport. Nick will announce his exciting 2019 international programme over the coming weeks.
Foster joins Nicky Catsburg who has sealed a return to the top flight of touring car racing where he will compete in WTCR with Hyundai Motorsport, alongside his BMW factory commitments in GT racing this year. Meanwhile, rising star Aidan Read continues with us, making the big jump to top level European competition in 2019 having competed under BAM’s guidance in Asia over the last four years.
Canadian Gentleman racer Fareed Ali and the OCC Lasik brand have been making plans with BAM for their 2019 race programme, testing with Thailand’s Vattana Motorsport. The team has already raced with BAM-placed drivers Kay Van Barlow and Aidan Read in the Thai Super Series GT3 in 2018.
Away from Driver Management, BAM has made another new and exciting signing in the commercial and profile management category, in the form of Nielsen Racing. The successful British outfit will field multiple LMP3 cars on an impressive entry list in the European Le Mans Series and other categories for 2019. Further information on the entries will be released in due course.
BAM is delighted to confirm that it will continue to support and work with the TF Sport and Optimum Motorsport teams, both of which enjoyed huge success in 2018. BAM will take care of their respective profiles in the Press and Social Media channels once again in 2019. We look forward to furthering growth and success for these front-running outfits globally.
BAM will continue to operate on an international scale by supporting Eurasia Motorsport, Asia’s premier team in developing young talent. Such is their success; the team has drivers who were developed by them such as Daniel Ricciardo and Antonio Giovinazzi on the Formula One grid this season. The team will add TCR Asia to their GT, Prototype and Single Seater campaigns this year.
Sponsor activation continues to be a major part of BAM’s portfolio and in 2019 we are proud to continue working with global brand American Express. We will support their access programme in Formula 1 and will be building on their presence in international motorsport with Prosperity Investment Management. The investment firm came on board with several of BAM’s supported teams and drivers for 2019, including an increased and broadened relationship with Nicky Catsburg.
Other brands working alongside BAM in 2019 include, AS Pro Engineering, Base Performance Simulators and Nielsen Chemicals. Further partnerships are in the pipeline for developing opportunities for growth using motorsport and BAM as a catalyst.
