Ticket sales for the November 2-4 event at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) have seen an increase of 41% compared to the same period in 2017. Tickets for Marc Marquez Tribune and F Grandstand have been sold out while Main Grandstand and Premier Roving tickets are selling fast with less than 400 tickets to grab. All ticket prices will be sold with 0% GST starting June 1, as per government announcement.

“This is exciting news that we like to share with our fans out there,” said Sepang International Circuit Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Razlan Razali. “We truly appreciate the support we have right now from our fans but we expect it to get bigger as we get closer to the event. We encourage fans to purchase their tickets earlier and not wait until the race month. With the presence of our own MotoGP rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah, I’m sure we can have yet another sell-out crowd this year at Sepang,” he added.

While tickets for the Main Grandstand are selling fast, the much-affordable tickets for Hafizh Syahrin Tribune and SIC Racing Team Tribune are still up for grabs. With fantastic view of the circuit to watch the heart-pumping action and tribune kits includes the riders and team merchandise with every purchase, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

Malaysia will have a representative in the Moto3 class through Adam Noroddin (Petronas Sprinta Racing) and also in the Moto2 class through Khairul Idham Pawi (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia). As a way for fans to show their support towards the Malaysian riders challenging for honours at their home race, SIC have earlier introduced the #KamiGearKe7 campaign.

Following the concept of fans as the 12th man on the pitch on football matches to support their teams, the #KamiGearKe7 will provide the avenue for fans to show support for Malaysian riders during the Malaysian GP. Activities for the #KamiGearKe7 campaign include social media engagements, video dedications, on-ground activities and contests.
